About the Interactive Property
Fashion has always been a fiercely loyal companion of mine. She was standing over me when I told my mom I never wanted to wear jeans because the rough waists were uncomfortable. And when my mom asked if I was then going to wear sweat pants for the rest of my life, even though I immediately thought that this notion was a fabulous solution, my companion knew better and led me away from the sweats and heels pairing that quite possibly could have been my signature look today. My fashion companion was there in front of me smiling in approval as I twirled around in the numerous creations my mom had sewn for me- birthday outfits, holiday dresses, Halloween costumes, even my junior high school graduation dress. In high school and college, she watched from a slightly farther distance behind me as I discovered my own fashion sense, made my own mistakes, and picked myself up from the trends that fortunately never left me with any fashion scars- and the reason why I don’t have them is because fashion doesn’t define me and she’s always known that. And now, in present day, she’s at my side letting me be as unbelievably whatever the hell I want to be as I want- and in a style that matches this free thinking. Wrecked Stellar is a document of this.
A special thanks to my photographer/sister/Bec!
